3/6/10 Skyview rebound from losses
BOISE —Skyview junior Kyle Dranginis hit 5-of-9 attempts from 3-point range and finished with 27 points, leading the Hawks past Century on Friday at Borah High.
The Hawks (20-5) head into today’s 9:15 a.m. consolation championship against Jerome (15-13). On Friday, they jumped ahead 19-5 in the opening quarter, en route to victory.
“The biggest challenge in these games (is) being ready to play,” Skyview coach Aaron Sanders said. “It’s real easy to start out real slow, and be in a haze.
“The kids did just the opposite of that.
“I was just real happy with how we were mentally ready to play.”
Also leading Skyview were Matthew Clark (14 points, seven rebounds) and Terrell Rowe (11 points, six rebounds).
